History Of Bonsai Plant

    Bonsai is a Japanese art form using miniature trees grown in containers.Bonsai type of plant culture was traditionally practiced in the countries like Japan,China,Korea and spreads the area to Vietnam.In ancient days Bonsai Plant culture is practiced as an Art.As it is originated from China & Japan, No doubt it might be introduced by Buddhist monk.Bon is a tray like pot used for the bonsai plant culture. Bonsai Plant is a tree cultivated in the pot and can be carried anywhere.

This concept is called “Keisho-sodai”, means small size-great similarity.

Keisho means small size of a bonsai plant

Sodai   means similar to the real plant in nature.

Cultivation Of Bonsai Plant
As we know Bonsai plant is a tree which is cultivated in a pot. Hence there must some techniques for a huge tree like, to grow in a pot.You can make your bonsai plant with seeds of some species,   plants cultivating or digging up your own plant form your garden. But traditionally it was made up form the wild plant, it or its part is dig from the ground,with large amount soil surrounding its roots, in order it to grow well. Then remove the main root or tap root,it may be easy to fit into the pot. I think roots are the one fundamental in the bonsai, it look like as if it has grown on the ground and spread its root throughout, but we see it on the pot and its bonsai plant.
Can see some of the roots above the soil on the pot and surely some of the roots must immersed into the soil. There must be basic training before starting even it as a hobby. After some basic, its easy to convert mangy old shrub into a beautiful bonsai plant. 
Steps Involved In Making Bonsai Plant are Air Layering, Cutting, Seeds,Grafting. And to know about pruning and wiring skills  to make a unique style.Daily care must be taken for its soil,feedings,cutting, shaping,watering.
