Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2012

The 18th edition of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2012 was held from Oct 08 to Oct  1 at  Hall 18 of the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO), Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.. For five days its was a festival of fashion. The following Designer showcased their collections on the ramp. 

Oct 8:- Start Of the Day:-

  On the opening day designers Nandita Basu,Gauri & Nanika, Malini Ramani showcased their collections.

Gauri & Nanika:-  

Their collections were ramped under "make do and mend". They were all solid colors red,green,black,blue and yellow. It was like a retro into fashion and was able to found ruffles,turban. Plain solid colour fabric was concentrated more on the tailoring. The fabric was really chic.

 Malini Ramani:-

  Malini Ramani's collections were stunning with more glitters.It was called Maximum Malini. The collections were incorporated from Rajasthani traditional costumes and jewels. The black with white stripes were traditionally modulated.Designer showcased a variety of collections inspired from different tradition and motifs. The accessory,prints and the colors used were awesome.

Nandita Basu

 

Nandita Basu collections were lgiht golden natural colors. They were all tight fitted costumes with traditional prints on them.The prints were unique and suited for the tailored costumes.

She feels fit; finish and form, as well as attention to detail and construction are important elements of designer clothing. The collections were elegant and looks good in the evening.

   Rimzim Dadu My Village Collection was purely natural and heavely concentrated on organic elements. They were all soft colors with different fabric feel.The texture of the fabric was chic. She implemented different types of plastic materials and also can see some cut works. Indeed, more innovative and effective. A new style Chic.
